“Amid the early morning haze of Sunday, March 2, emergency crews and authorities swiftly converged on a Cubao footbridge following the tragic fall of an unidentified elderly woman,” the Department of Transportation said in a statement.

The DOTr said authorities are reviewing the CCTV footage to piece together the final moments of the victim.

The elderly woman carried no identification, but a note was recovered from her.

“Investigators recovered a handwritten note suggesting personal struggles,” the agency said. (Keith Clores, trainee)
