BOC exceeds January 2025 target with P79.34-B collection

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Thursday said it recorded a total revenue of P78.015 billion in January 2025, exceeding its target income.

MANILA, Philippines – The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Thursday said it recorded a total revenue of P78.015 billion in January 2025, exceeding its target income.

According to the BOC in a statement, its January income exceeded its target revenue by 1.7 percent or P1.33 billion.

It also reflected an 8.10 percent increase from the same period in 2024, P5.947 billion more than the P73.397 billion collected in January 2024.

Due to this, Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio reiterated the BOC’s commitment to advancing efficiency and collection performance.

“Our priority is to sustain revenue growth while ensuring seamless trade and robust border protection,” Rubio said.

He said the BOC will continue to “innovate, enforce strict measures, and collaborate with stakeholders to support the government’s fiscal goals and drive national progress.”
