MANILA, Philippines 鈥� Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary for Special Concerns Paul Mercado has been assigned officer-in-charge of the agency, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro said on Monday.
She announced it through a Viber message to reporters.
Ivan Uy resigned from his post as DICT secretary, Castro said last Friday.
There is no information yet on the reason for his resignation.
