Bong Go asks nation to pray for ex-President Rodrigo Duterte

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go enjoined the nation to pray for former President Rodrigo Duterte following the latter’s arrest for crimes against humanity.
In a Facebook live on Tuesday, Go—a known Duterte ally—was seen at the gates of the Villamor Airbase in Pasay. He was talking to the media, carrying a box of pizza, saying it was requested by Duterte and his daughter, Veronica.
“Dasal po. Ipagdasal natin si Tatay Digong. Mga kababayan ko, minahal tayo ni Tatay Digong. Ipagdasal natin siya, ipakita natin ang ating pagmamahal sa kanya sa pagdarasal,” said Go.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO), also on Tuesday, confirmed that the International Criminal Police Organization – Manila received the official copy of the warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court against Duterte.
