MANILA, Philippines 鈥�The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Friday seized an estimated P340 million worth of shabu and arrested two suspects following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City.听
Operatives confiscated 50 kilograms of suspected shabu in 25 golden aluminum packs and 25 vacuum-sealed orange packs labeled 鈥淐ote d鈥橧voire,鈥� according to the agency鈥檚 report.
The authorities identified the suspects only as 鈥淭ita Joy鈥� and 鈥淟iezel.鈥�
They will face a formal complaint for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act.
The seized illegal drugs were turned over to the PDEA Laboratory Service for analysis.
