LEGAZPI CITY 鈥� Authorities arrested two suspected drug personalities and recovered more than P1 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation early Thursday in Daet town in Camarines Norte.
Brigadier General Andre Dizon, Bicol police chief, identified the suspects in a report as 鈥淢ars,鈥� 51, a resident of Bulacan, and 鈥淕ie,鈥� 53, of Muntinlupa City, tagged as high-value drug personalities.
They were arrested after selling illegal drugs to the undercover agents in Barangay Magang at around 1:30 a.m., the report said.
Dizon said the government forces recovered 31 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 160 grams.
They were facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
