Rains due to ‘amihan’, shear line

Meanwhile, Pagasa weather specialist Joey Figuracion said in the same press conference that the northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” continues to prevail in Luzon.

He added that it will bring rains in parts of the region, especially in the eastern section.

The shear line, or the convergence of warm and cold winds, will result in rains in Southern Luzon, Visayas, and northern part of Mindanao.

April forecast temperature

Solis also presented temperature ranges forecast for April. Northern Luzon and lowland Luzon will have the highest temperature forecast with 39.8°C and 39°C, respectively.
