5 nabbed at Puerto Princesa City drug den

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY — Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police in this city on Wednesday arrested five individuals in an alleged drug den.
With a search warrant, the authorities stormed a house, which was a suspected drug den, in Barangay Masipag, where they arrested two women and a man, the primary targets of the warrant. Also arrested were the couple who owned the house.
The time of the raid was not stated in the report.
The search yielded 14 plastic sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) weighing about one gram worth P102,000, and other drug paraphernalia.
The suspects, who were not identified in the report, are now under the custody of PDEA and will be charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
