PGH’s emergency room ‘temporarily’ reaches overcapacity – DOH

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday said the Philippine General Hospital’s (PGH) emergency room “temporarily” reached full capacity.
“Upon investigation of the UP-PGH management, no unusual or dangerous reasons were found for this situation, and the number may also decrease after a few days,” the DOH’s statement reads.
Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa said the DOH is ready to assist patients from the PGH for their possible transfer to other DOH hospitals.

The agency said patients can be admitted to the following hospitals:
