LUCBAN, Quezon 鈥� The province of Camarines Norte experienced a 4.4 magnitude earthquake on Thursday, April 3.
In a bulletin, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that the earthquake struck at 8:28 a.m.,
The epicenter was located at 14.23 degrees north, 122.84 degrees east, 007 kilometers south, and 46 degrees east of the coastal town of Paracale.
A depth of 10 kilometers was registered, according to the first bulletin released by Phivolcs.
Meanwhile, intensity 3 was logged at Daet, Camarines Norte.
No damage and aftershocks were expected after the light earthquake.
Earthquakes with magnitude 2.5 to 5.4 are labeled as 鈥渓ight,鈥� which is expected to cause only minor damage to buildings. 鈥擪arl Ian Morissey Ramos, Inquirer intern
