MANILA, Philippines — Speaker Martin Romualdez on Sunday lauded Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rommel Marbil for his swift action against police officers, including the chief of Metro Manila’s Eastern Police District (EPD), over the extortion and kidnapping of two Chinese nationals.
