Palace downplays reported ‘bleeding gums,’ says Marcos is healthy

MANILA, Philippines — There is nothing to worry about the health of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., following concerns from netizens about his “bleeding” gums during an event in Quezon City.
Marcos delivered his speech for the Day of Valor on Wednesday in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, where his reported bleeding gums were observed and pointed out by some netizens online.

In a message to reporters on Thursday, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said:
“Nothing to worry about.. We just had a meeting this morning.. I don’t see anything wrong with his health.”
