MANILA, Philippines 鈥� Ten areas across the country will experience a 鈥渄angerous鈥� heat index level on Maundy Thursday, April 17, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
The 鈥渄anger鈥� level indicates that the heat index is between 42 and 51掳C, which may cause heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
The following 鈥渄angerous鈥� heat indices were forecast in these areas:

Meanwhile, 63 areas in the country were projected to see heat indices between 33 and 41掳颁 or the 鈥渆xtreme caution鈥� category.
This included the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City (40掳颁) and the Science Garden in Quezon City (38掳颁).
