MANILA, Philippines – Even if it has not yet entered the Philippine area of responsibility, concerned government agencies have prepared for the destruction that may be brought by Typhoon Carina, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said Tuesday.

According to the report, deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said that the government was particularly monitoring Regions 1 and 2 and other Luzon regions which would possibly be affected by the new typhoon.
