MANILA, Philippines鈥擩udicial and Bar Council member Jose Mejia said Tuesday those who will fail the mandatory psychological and psychiatric examination will not be automatically disqualified as nominees for the chief justice post.
In an interview with anchors Susan K, Den Macaranas and Captain Dylan Halili of 鈥淕ood Morning Inquirer鈥� on Radio Inquirer 990AM, Mejia said the 鈥渃onfidential鈥� exam category will just be used by the JBC as a 鈥済uide鈥� in their selection of the new chief justice of the Supreme Court.
鈥淚to ay gagabay lang sa mga miyembro ng JBC kung s鈥檡a ba ay makakaganap sa kanyang tungkulin nang maayos,鈥� Mejia said.
