Passengers of troubled Navy chopper named

MANILA, Philippines – The passengers of the Philippine Navy chopper that made a precautionary landing in Sorsogon Tuesday morning have been identified by police.

Senior Superintendent John Jambora of Sorsogon Police identified the passengers as:

Lieutenant Colita Rowene, pilot;

Lieutenant Junior Grade Nelson dela Cruz Alquiza, co-pilot;

The Navy chopper with body number TNH 422 initiated emergency landing along the shorelines of Sta. Cruz village in Donsol, Sorsogon due to engine trouble.

All passengers were safe but the damage to the aircraft was still unknown.
