Tsunami warning cancelled after Costa Rica quake鈥擴S
WASHINGTON—A tsunami warning issued for Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua after a 7.6-magnitude earthquake near the Pacific coast Wednesday has been canceled, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.
The warning, which initially had extended from Mexico to Peru, was dropped entirely under three hours after the quake rocked Costa Rica.
