Fire rages in QC compound, fourth alarm up

MANILA, Philippines – A fire broke out at a residential compound in Quezon City Thursday and the alarm has been raised to the fourth level, a city fire officer said.

Senior Fire Officer 2 Albert Flores said the fire blazed through a still undetermined number of houses at Gana Compound along Quirino Highway in Barangay (village) Unang Sigaw in Balintawak before 10 a.m.

The fourth alarm was raised at 10:08 a.m.

No immediate reports of casualties and injuries have reached their office, Flores said.
