Police officer brings out video clip on alleged 2004 poll fraud

MANILA, Philippines – A video clip, showing people moving around the storage of ballot boxes in the House of Representatives during the 2004 elections, was shown to the media by the office of Senator Panfilo Lacson.

The short video was given to Lacson by a police officer who met with him in his office in the Senate on Thursday.

Media men were still waiting for Lacson to give a statement about his meeting with the police officer, who went out of his office unnoticed.

The police officer was identified as a certain Lieutenant Joel Pinawin, the alleged “cutstodian” of the video.

Lacson told a press conference that they were trying to bring in the person who took the video.
