Fires hit Manila, Malabon
MANILA, Philippines—Two fires simultaneously broke out in Manila and Malabon Monday, fire officers reported.
Senior Fire Officer 2 Marson Perez of Manila Fire Bureau said a fire swept a residential-commercial area on Caballero Street in Binondo around 12:38 p.m..
A fourth alarm was declared at around 12:53 p.m. No other information was available as of posting.
A few minutes earlier, at around 12:35 p.m., a fire hit a tofu factory in Barangay (village) Maysilo in Malabon City.
National Capital Region-Bureau of Fire Protection officer said.
Fire Officer 2 Owen Ferrera of the National Capital Region-Bureau of Fire Protection said a second alaram was raised at 12:42 p.m.
