MANILA, Philippines鈥擳welve soldiers of the Philippine Army were wounded in a vehicular incident in Masbate, the military said Friday.
In a belated report Friday, Major Angelo Guzman, spokesman of the Army鈥檚 9th Infantry Division, said that 17 soldiers were onboard a military truck that enountered a 鈥渕echanical malfunction鈥� causing the accident in Marcella village, in Uson town around 10 p.m. Thursday.
Eight soldiers 聽 suffered major injuries while four sustained minor injuries. The victims were 聽rushed to Masbate City Hospital for treatment.
