FORMER national team member, Victorio Saludar III took a solid step towards building his professional boxing career by signing up with the country鈥檚 premiere boxing promotional outfit, ALA Promotions.
The 22 year-old Saludar, the youngest of three boxing brothers was an amateur standout, a 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games bronze medalist and a steady contender winning two Palarong Pambansa gold medals and six national championship gold medals. The pride of Polomolok, South Cotabato was also named 鈥淏est Fighter of the Tournament鈥� during the 31鈥檚 Tammer Cup held in Tampere, Finland.
Saludar, younger brother of the undefeated Interim WBO Oriental, Youth and Asia Pacific flyweight champion Froilan 鈥淪niper鈥� Saludar who goes by the moniker 鈥淰icious鈥� joined ALA boxing鈥檚 stable of fighters for the exciting 108 pounds division.
He is set to make his pro-debut in the upcoming 21st edition of Pinoy Pride mega boxing series which headlines WBO World Minimumweight champion Merlito Sabillo going up against WBO world rated No. 6 challenger Jorle Estrada of Colombia.
