Tropical depression ‘Kiko’ exits PH

MANILA, Philippines—Tropical depression “Kiko” moved out of the Philippine area of responsibility Tuesday morning, the state weather bureau said.

Kiko was last spotted 620 kilometers northwest of Coron, Palawan, packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and moving northwest at 20 kph.
“Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Caraga will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to southeast will prevail over the western section of Central and Southern Luzon and of Visayas. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest to southeast with slight to moderate seas, it added.
