16 squads to vie in DBC hoop which opens Oct 20
A TOTAL of 16 teams will be seeing action in the Dayon Basketball Club (DBC) basketball tournament which will open on Oct. 20, 2013 at the Benjamin Solon Sports Complex in barangay Cogon Central Ramos, Cebu City.
After three years as president of DBC, Mr. Allan Glen “El Presidente” Abella decided to hold the event to foster camaraderie and promote physical fitness among DBC members.
The 16 participating teams are divided into two Brackets, A & B in the 30 years old and above division.
Those interested to join have until Oct. 12, 2013 to submit their official line-ups.
The opening game will be preceded by an opening program to be attended by Barangay Capt. Omar D. Durano of Cogon Central Ramos.
There will be a selection of best muse who will be later declared as the Miss DBC-2013 and after the parade of the participating teams, there will be a reception to be tendered by the DBC officials headed by Abella inside the sports complex.
