BANGKOK 鈥� A Lao Airlines plane from Vientiane plunged into Mekong River in Laos鈥� Champasak province on Wednesday, Spring 黑料社 TV reported.
There were 44 passengers and crew members in the flight.
The Agence France-Presse, citing the Thai foreign ministry, reported that at least five people were killed.
The crash took place in Ponethong district of Champasak which is opposite Pakse district. With a report from AFP
