Makati court OKs Napoles Senate appearance on November 7

MANILA, Philippines – The Makati City Regional Trial Court (RTC) on Monday allowed Janet Lim-Napoles to appear and testify at the Senate probe into the pork barrel scam on November 7.

A report from Radyo Inquirer 990AM said the Makati RTC Branch 150 received a copy of the subpoena issued by the Senate’s blue ribbon committee and the letter of Sen. Teofisto Guingona III requesting the court to allow Napoles to attend the investigation.

The report said Judge Elmo Alameda approved the request before the court closed late Monday afternoon.
