The retired public school teacher from Baco, Oriental Mindoro, left their family residence in Ilaya, Calapan City on Tuesday (October 29) morning.

She was last seen at Batangas City port on Tuesday afternoon wearing a white blouse and black pants. She has short, white hair and about five feet tall.

An earlier report said Maliwanag was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and might seem disoriented. But, the report said, she knew her name and place of residence.

In one of Dennis’s Facebook comments, he said: “How she was able to board a boat without ticket remains a mystery to us. And how she was able to go to Calamba is something we need to find out to try to understand her pattern of behavior.”
