BAGUIO CITY, Philippines鈥擟adet Jeff Aldrin Cudia could not join the Philippine Military Academy graduation on Sunday even if President Benigno Aquino III would reverse the decision of the military school鈥檚 honor committee to dismiss Cudia.
Col. Rozzano Briguez, PMA Commandant of Cadets, told reporters Saturday the beleaguered cadet still needs to finish some academic requirements, citing that he has not completed his on-the-job training yet.
鈥淐ategorically, he (Cudia) cannot graduate,鈥 Briguez said.聽 鈥淏ecause he also failed to satisfy all requirements for the prescribed course of study.鈥
The military academy鈥檚 Cadet Review and Appeals Board has forwarded its decision to Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin, who would in turn submit the request to Aquino.
As of posting time, the President has yet to issue the decision to reverse Cudia鈥檚 dismissal.
