MANILA, Philippines鈥擳he lifeless body of a man was found in Mandaluyong City on Monday morning.
Senior Insp. Herculano Mago, the city鈥檚 investigation chief, said the police have yet to identify the fatality, who was found inside a garbage bag on Madison Street in Barangay (village) Ilaya.
The bag was found at 7 a.m. by a concerned citizen who called the police. A check showed that the victim had been shot in the head, Mago said. 鈥淎s of now, we can鈥檛 say if the (victim) is from Mandaluyong or from somewhere else,鈥� Mago added.
The body was taken to St. Bernadette Funeral Homes.鈥�Kristine Felisse Mangunay
