LONDON 鈥� Staff at a London hair salon say they had a close shave with North Korean officials after using the country鈥檚 leader, Kim Jong Un, to promote discount haircuts.
M&M Hair Academy says it received a visit by two men from the nearby North Korean embassy after putting up a poster last week featuring a picture of Kim 鈥� who sports a distinctive undercut 鈥� and the slogan 鈥淏ad Hair Day?鈥�
Barber Karim Nabbach said the manager refused to remove the poster and reported the incident to police.
London鈥檚 Metropolitan Police confirmed Tuesday that officers had spoken to both sides of the dispute and concluded 鈥渢here were no offenses for us to investigate.鈥�
Embassy officials could not immediately be reached for a comment.
