Revilla arrest warrant signed

Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. INQUIRER/ MARIANNE BERMUDEZ

MANILA, Philippines – The arrest warrant for Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has been signed at the Sandiganbayan, according to a television report.

The warrant is expected to be served at the soonest possible time on Friday although Revilla said that he would turn himself in before the anti-graft court once the order has been issued.

Revilla is charged with plunder, a non-bailable offense, and graft over his alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam, together with Senators Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile.

As of posting time, Revilla is reported on radio to be bidding his father and former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr.
