MANILA, Philippines–The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and the Light Rail Transit (LRT) suspended their operation early Wednesday due to typhoon “Glenda” (international name: Rammasun).
In an advisory, LRT Authority spokesperson Hernando Cabrera said all its train operations were suspended to ensure the safety of commuters and its employees.
Cabrera said the operations would resume once the weather condition has stabilized.
