MANILA, Philippines鈥揋aining strength in the seas off eastern Philippines, the low pressure area has intensified into tropical depression 鈥淚nday,鈥� the weather bureau said.

In its weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that 鈥淚nday鈥� was last spotted at 870 kilometers east of听Appari, Cagayan.

Pagasa听added that 鈥淚nday鈥� has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and moves at a pace of 15听kph听northwest.

No storm warning signals have been raised.
