MANILA, Philippines‎–The gun-wielding man in the road rage video that went viral over the weekend will be slapped with multiple charges to be filed on Wednesday by Quezon City police.

The gun owner, whom the police refused to identify,Ìý‎will face complaints of grave threat and malicious mischief, a radio report said quotingÌýCubaoÌýStation Commander Superintendent RamonÌýPranada.

Once the police identify the man, Philippine National Police’s Firearms and Explosives Office head Chief SuperintendentÌýVirgilioÌýLazoÌýsaid they will recommend the cancellation of his gun permit if the firearm is licensed.
Either way the man will face charges for carrying a firearm or illegal possession of firearms.
‎Bus passengers alongÌýEpifanioÌýDelos Santos Avenue (Edsa)ÌýSantolanÌýflyover on Friday caught on video the man, who rode a Mercedes Benz, pointing a gun at a taxi driver.
Cab driver GlenÌýRemetioÌýthen threatened the SUV driver with a screwdriver, after the still unnamed man kicked the door of his cab repeatedly.
In the video, a bus passenger was heard saying the plate number of the vehiclesÌý–ÌýKDP 313 (Mercedes Benz) and UVN 607 (taxi).
After the confrontation, the Mercedes Benz drove off but the taxi chased it, cutting off the vehicle, which hit the railing alongÌýEdsa.ÌýBoth drivers emerged from their vehicles as another round of arguments ensued.
