Justices inspect jail facilities for pork suspects

MANILA, Philippines – Justices of the Sandiganbayan on Wednesday afternoon conducted an ocular inspection at the Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City where alleged pork barrel mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles is being detained, a radio report said.

Justice Amparo Cabotaje Tang and Associate Justices Samuel Martirez and Alex Quiroz arrived at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Taguig City shortly after 3 p.m.

Clerk of Court Dennis Pulma also arrived at Camp Bagong Diwa.

Tang, the presiding justice of the anti-graft courts’ third division, handles the graft and plunder case of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile who is detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Hospital at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
