Left turn allowed on Edsa-Taft Ave. Aug. 9-17–MMDA

MANILA, Philippines – The Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) –Taft Avenue will be open to all vehicles turning left from Roxas Boulevard from August 9-17, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Friday.

In an advisory, the MMDA said repairs on the Magallanes Interchange prompted the rerouting.

The MMDA said the southbound lane of the Magallanes flyover along South Super Highway will be closed to traffic starting at 10 p.m. Friday until August 17, Sunday.

The road work is in line with the Department of Public Works and Highways’ Magallanes Interchange Rehabilitation Project.

The DPWH said “asphalting activities” will be conducted to “strengthen the structural component” of the 39-year-old flyover.
