CHARLOTTE, North Carolina 鈥� President Barack Obama says 鈥淎merica does not forget鈥� and is vowing justice for the murder of an American journalist.
The president said the country continues to grieve James Foley, killed last week by Islamic State militants.
Obama called the killers 鈥渂arbaric terrorists.鈥� He signaled that a response may take some time.
He said 鈥� quote 鈥� 鈥淩ooting out a cancer like ISIL won鈥檛 be easy and it won鈥檛 be quick.鈥�
But he said America is patient and 鈥渏ustice will be done.鈥�
