Pangasinan gov suspends classes in school where shooting happened

MANILA, Philippines 鈥斕齈angasinan听Governor Amado T. Espino Jr. declared a two-day class suspension starting this Tuesday at the听Pangasinan听National High School 鈥渢o allow the faculty, staff, and students the time to recover from the trauma yesterday鈥檚 (Monday) senseless shooting.鈥�

Espino also said that he offered his condolences to the family of the victims and wished for the speedy recovery of those who were wounded.

Police Officer 2 Domino听Alipio听shot dead three people, including a teacher, and wounded four others after听Alipio听reportedly ran amuck.

Senior Superintendent Reynaldo听Biay,听Pangasinan听Police Provincial Office听鈥巓fficer-in-charge, said听Alipio听went to the school to collect payment from one of the victims who owed him.

The police seized a .45 caliber handgun and a folded carbine from听Alipio听who is currently under the custody of the Lingayen police.
