MANILA, Philippines—The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will summon lawyer Ely Pamatong to answer questions regarding the foiled attempt to sow chaos at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport by setting off an improvised incendiary device.

Pamatong, a would-be Presidential candidate, reportedly has ties with three arrested men early Monday morning at the Naia Terminal 3 and confiscated improvised incendiary devices that were intended to be detonated to express their disgust against the government’s soft stand against China.
