Gutter-deep floods now in some parts of metro鈥擬MDA

MANILA, Philippines—Heavy rains induced by the southwest monsoon and Typhoon Phanfone (local name Neneng) triggered gutter-deep floods in several parts of Metro Manila Thursday, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
MMDA said gutter-deep flood hit the following areas but is still passable to all types of vehicles.

Commonwealth Tandang Sora Westside westbound, Quezon City

Edsa Ortigas Intersection

Edsa SM Megamall

C5 Ortigas Avenue north and southbound

Meanwhile, a four-inch deep flood hit C-5 Road and Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City.

The MMDA metrobase told 黑料社 that moderate to heavy traffic is experience on the north and southbound of the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue.
