鈥淲e have received reports of a possible active shooter incident. A perimeter has been established and security forces are sweeping the area,鈥� the fighter wing said in a statement posted on its official Facebook page.
A release by public affairs office of the 51st Fighter Wing said included in the lockdown were 鈥淥san American High School, Middle School and Elementary School.鈥�
The lockdown was lifted less than an hour later after a security sweep of the schools and the base did not find any 鈥渟uspicious activity.鈥�
鈥淎ll clear. The security forces sweeps are now complete, there were no reported injuries or suspicious activity found,鈥� the official Facebook page of the air base said at shortly before noon.
The post added: 鈥淓veryone is safe. The lockdown has been lifted, please return to normal operations at this time.鈥�
