Building on Araneta Avenue on fire for almost 12 hours

MANILA, Philippines鈥擣iremen have been unable to extinguish a fire engulfing a building on Araneta Avenue in Barangay (village) Tatalon, Quezon City, as of聽Saturday聽morning.

Alexis Santos, village official, said the聽seven-story Gateway 2000 building has been on fire since聽11:40 p.m. Friday聽night and remains on Task聽Force Bravo as of posting time.

Santos said the fire started on the second floor of the commercial building and continues to聽spread to its upper floors.聽KS/NC
