Two high school students who were reported missing after going swimming in Lake Apo in Valencia City, Bukidnon, have been found dead, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said聽on Thursday听苍颈驳丑迟.
The Valencia City DRRMC recovered the bodies of Jane Sumili, 14, and Glezel Jane Salahay, 18,聽on Wednesday聽at about聽5:30 a.m.
They were believed to have drowned.
The two were reported missing since March 29, and search and rescue operations were conducted, the NDRRMC said.
Valencia聽City聽provided burial and rice assistance to the affected families.
