MANILA, Philippines鈥揟he Armed Forces of the Philippines Procurement Service (AFPPS) has earned an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Certificate.
Col. Alvin Francis Javier, AFPPS commander, said the unit is the first procurement office to win the coveted certification from the Geneva-based international standard body.
The AFPPS obtained ISO 9001:2008 Certificate on April 6 from T脺V Rheinland Philippines Inc., an international audit body which specializes in evaluating management systems based on international standards.
