After topping recent surveys as the preferred choice for president in 2016, Senator Grace Poe also emerged as the top choice for vice president, the latest Social Weather Station (SWS) survey showed.
The survey results first published in Business World revealed that 21 percent of the 1,200 respondents would vote for Poe if she ran for vice president in 2016.
While remaining as the top choice for vice president in the survey done from June 5 to 8, her latest rating was five percent lower than the result from a similar survey in March.
Trailing Poe was Interior Secretary Manuel 鈥淢ar鈥 Roxas II with 12 percent.
Vice President Jejomar Binay tied for third place with Senator Francis 鈥淐hiz鈥 Escudero with seven percent.

The SWS survey said eight percent of the surveyed respondents had no one to recommend for vice president while 22 percent did not give an answer.
Poe has topped the recent SWS and Pulse Asia surveys for preferred potential president in 2016. She also topped the survey for potential vice president in 2016 conducted by Pulse Asia.
