Man killed in attempted car theft QC

MANILA, Philippines — A man was killed when two suspects on a motorcycle attempted to carjack his Blue Mitsubishi Adventure in Cubao, Quezon City, Friday morning, Radyo Inquirer 990AM reported.

The victim was identified as Albert Man, 41, residing in #58-A 9th avenue corner Main Avenue, the report said.

Senior Police Officer 2 Joseph Salinel of Station Seven said in the report that Man had just arrived home after bringing his two children to school when the suspects suddenly appeared and attempted to carjack his vehicle.

He was shot once in the head and in the body by a 9-millimeter gun, he said.

The wife of the victim, Amor Man, heard the shots and then went out and saw her husband whom she immediately rushed to the Quirino Memorial Medical Center, in Quezon City where he was pronounced dead on arrival by hospital doctors.
