PRC releases list of new elementary, secondary teachers
THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday released the result of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) given last Sept. 27, 2015 with 21,461 elementary teachers out of 68,442 examinees passed while 34,010 out of 81,463 secondary level teachers hurdled the examination.
According to PRC, of the 21, 461 elementary teachers who passed, 20,145 are first timers and 1,316 are repeaters while in the secondary teachers, 29,443 are first timers and 4,567 are repeaters.
The September 2015 LET results were released 48 working days after the last day of board examination.
The examination was conducted at various testing centers in the Philippines and in Hong Kong.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on December 7, 2015 while the dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees will be announced later, PRC said.
