TACURONG CITY—Three people—at least two of them minors—were injured when an improvised explosive device went off here on Tuesday afternoon.

Supt. Ranie Hachuela, acting police chief, said the IED went off outside a pharmacy along Jose Abad Santos Street.

He said the explosive was placed on the engine compartment of a Toyota car and was rigged with wires and nails.
