The camp of Vice President Jejomar Binay said the Supreme Court decision qualifying Sen. Grace Poe for the elections does not have an impact on Binay鈥檚 campaign.
鈥淭he Supreme Court decision has no bearing on our campaign,鈥� Binay鈥檚 spokesperson Atty. Rico Quicho said in a statement on Tuesday.

Quicho said the elections is about the candidate who is most qualified to alleviate the country鈥檚 poverty.
鈥淭his election is not about who the opponents are but who is the most prepared to address the problem of poverty,鈥� Quicho said.
鈥淰ice President Binay is that candidate,鈥� he added.
In a vote of 9-6, the Supreme Court voted that Poe is qualified to run as a presidential candidate despite her status as a foundling. CDG
