NFA chief quits

/ 03:45 AM April 28, 2016

Citing “personal and medical reasons,” National Food Authority (NFA) administrator Renan Dalisay has quit his post.

In an interview with reporters on Wednesday, Dalisay said he had tendered his resignation on a previous occasion, but he was asked by Malacañang to stay on until May 2016.

“This (resignation) is for personal and medical reasons,” the NFA chief said. “I need to undergo a medical procedure. If I don’t, things may get worse for me.”
